Services: Our mission is to cultivate learning and nurture the human spirit with equine healing opportunities for all in a safe, inclusive, accepting space. Our ground-based programs focus on connecting with horses through literacy activities that help develop academic, social, emotional and life skills. There is no riding involved. We work on reading strategies that build decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills; problem solving, team building, and school success.
Time spent on the ground with a horse is translated into a meaningful partnership and learning opportunity to improve self-confidence, trust, honesty, communication and self-regulation. Using the Horse Powered Reading Curriculum, we welcome groups from all over the community regardless of social, economic or geographic backgrounds. K-12 students, adults, groups up to 20 or small groups up to 6 are encouraged to attend. Private sessions also available. Our program can travel to your location as well!
