Services: Riding with HEART is a Premier Accredited Center of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH). Riding with HEART offers adaptive therapeutic riding lessons, Hippotherapy, Veterans program’s, and Equine Assisted Learning groups. We offer Horse Powered Reading® to children and groups ages 4-16. Services: We work with K-6th grade school groups and individual or small group assessment and tutoring to reinforce reading strategies that build decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills; as well as problem solving, team building, and school success. Harmony Hollow also runs Equine Assisted Learning sessions to promote physical and mental health.

Services: Lisa Gerfin is a PATH-certified riding instructor, and has extensive experience teaching children and young adults with special needs riding skills-focus on body awareness, enhanced muscle control, improved behavior control and balance. She is also a certified job coach and was educated at The Boggs Center of Rutgers University, where she studied education in developmental disabilities.
She is a Horse Powered Reading® Facilitator, helping students interact with horses, while using toys and props to identify obstacles to reading while learning the five critical reading skills - phonemic awareness, decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.

De-stress with horses is an 1.5 hr workshop series focusing on mindfulness with horses. No riding is involved. Offered in the Spring and Fall.
